Moccasin Dance: Gratitude & Love

TransMedia Sound & Music, an independent record label, announces the release of BEAD SONGS.

BEAD SONGS is Andy Wasserman's first release on the TransMedia Sound & Music label, and his seventh CD release in the last 10 years as featured composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist.

FROM THE "BEAD SONGS" LINER NOTES, written by Andy Wasserman:

This entire CD project honors my friend Yahhazie, a master beadwork artist and an enrolled member of the Shoshone Bannock Tribes of Fort Hall, Idaho.

Yahhazie created all the authentic Shoshone beadwork photographed for this CD, including the choker, medallion necklace, cuffs, belt buckle and moccasins I am wearing in the insert photo. Thank you Yahhazie for keeping the Native American traditions alive and sharing your inspirational and enlightening vision so wholeheartedly with everyone!

May this music reflect the essence of how Yahhazie explains her work:

"a dedication to the ways of our Ancestors, Grandfather, and the stewardship of Mother Earth while singing a song and making melody in your heart as you ponder the things that make us one in the eyes of the Great Spirit."
