This latest Alien Bliss CD was written and recorded both in Naalehu, Hawaii and in Boulder Creek, California. It's kind of a song portrait of a year spent in the islands, a musical plate lunch, as it were, and although some of the songs aren't about Hawaii specifically, they were no doubt inspired by some aspect of being there.
"It was a beautiful, challenging year that kicked my ass," Alien Bliss was heard to utter at a press conference upon his return.
When asked whether he'd recommend the experience to anyone, he said, "Visiting Hawaii is one thing. Living there is another."
