Gotta Pay (I Bills)
Roots and Culture International is proudly present the new CD entitled Leave H.I.M Alone-recorded with special guest artist "General Jah Mikey" Unique rhythm and original style gives this CD a refreshing new flavor that help forward a conscious message to a multi-ethic audience.
Guitarist, singer song writer, Evans Lamour aka E. Lamour roots run deep with musical wealth. Growing up in The West Indies of Haiti was a member of a school choir which inspired him to learn how to sing and play guitar.
Later moved to NY city where he started performing in the local clubs and doing wedding, schools ,colleges, also concerts. One day he was called by a promoter to come to California, where he joined a group of friends which became the "Magyk Band". Where he begin to record a variety of rhythms called world beats. Recording all sounds like konpa, Soca, Reggae, R&B,and jazz having the opportunity to work with such artists like "George Clinton" of the Funkadelic's, "Club Noveau", "Andrew Tosh", "Junior P", "Maxie Priest", "Frank Paul" EEK-A-Mouse", "Sugar Minnot", Shakaman. After touring Mexico, Costa Rica, England, Paris France, and the U.S. with the "Magyk Band". He help to compile songs and music for NBC movie of the Week "Glitz".
I produced my first CD entitled "Reggae Lover" featuring the "DeBarge" brothers of the Motown Recording.
Opening two year back 2 back for the Bob Marley Festival "2002" at the Long Beach Arena, with "General Jah Mikey (M.C. for Get Up Stand Show on 92.3 the Beat)" and "2003 Akua-The Queen's Compound".
Currently I have a hot track, jamming remix on "Party People" featuring "Daddy Freddy" the fastest Reggae rapper in the World Book of Guinness. The music video is airing on your local cable T.V. station.
Also I am showcasing at various clubs in the Los Angeles areas with Roots N' Culture Intl.
